This dragon urn was a staple to most southeast asian households up until the late 90s.

As a multipurpose utilitarian storage container, it has many uses (it can store large volumes, in a relatively compact and aesthetic manner).

Throughout its lifetime, this urn has been used as to: 

• store rice / grains 
• make traditional rice wine 
• mini pond for guppies and aquatic plants 
• breeding tank for betta splendens (siamese fighting fish) 
• rainwater harvesting
