心在疫起 NEW NORMS PARK #15: Cage Painting

It's great weather today! Almost all the steel cages have been welded, primed and painted.

All the steel components are primed with Trans Paint Pluss Industrial Zinc Phosphate Primer for protection, and as a base layer for the coloured topcoat (in this case is the Trans Paint Nu-Cote Watergloss).

The primed (then painted) regular cages look beautiful! 😍

Central axis cages are primed and ready to go!

The central axis cages are bolted together to check for alignment errors, as the floor of the site is not flat.

The painter set up drop sheets, before starting to paint.

With 4 people painting simultaneously, it takes them +- 25 minutes to finish painting one unit of the central axis cage.

The Trans Paint Pluss Industrial Zinc Phosphate Primer comes in 5L buckets.

The Trans Paint Nu-Cote Watergloss comes in 20L buckets.

Cardboard is placed under the newly painted central axis cages to prevent unwanted paint drippings.
