BUS STOP PROTOTYPE #1: Sarawak Government’s Free School Bus Service

We were made aware of the state government’s Free School Bus Service initiative for Kuching. Many of the stops along the routes planned for the free school bus service, do not have existing bus stops. 

From there, we came up with the idea that we could propose an alternative type of bus stop, that is different from the typical Kuching bus stop typology, that could be installed along the route as required.

We pitched our idea to our MBKS (Kuching City South Council) Mayor, Dato Wee Hong Seng, and volunteered to contribute the design and management as part of our CSR (Community Social Responsibility) initiative (We wanted to put forward that young people/professionals can also play a part in contributing to building our community).
